Our fourteenth home is at 522 South 17th Street. It was purchased cheaply in early 2011 and work began in May. There was 3-4 feet of "junk" throughout the house and basement that had to be removed before other work could begin. Most workers are starting at 6 am during the summer months to beat the heat.
The Belleville News-Democrat will run a feature article on Neighbors for Renewal's rehabilitation of this house when it is completed.
